Long time ago I posted Duas for for 1st-2nd-3rd Ashra of Ramadan at my blog that you can recite during Ramanda (Ramzan) for getting blessings from Allah. For every 10 days (Ashra) of Ramadan there is a different Dua. That time I never knew if they are correct Islamically or not. And I was not aware of the proper source of those duas. Recently someone asked for the proper source of those dua’s in blog comments as he wants to make sure his prayers. So I contact to Muhammad Mubashir Nazir who is a well known personality on religious issues here in Saudi Arabia. Here I am quoting his reply.
Dear Brother
Wa alaikum us salam wa Rahmatullah e wa Barakatuhu
All of these prayers are good. There is nothing wrong in them. They are reported in different Ahadith. Although I’ve not found any basis for association of each prayer with specific decade of Ramadan. They can be read at any time.I’ll advise you to add translation of these prayers on your blog.
So I have updated my previous post about duas and I am adding a few more duas you may recite during Ramadan.
First Ashra (from 1st Ramadan to 10th of Ramadan)
First 10 days of Blessed Ramadan are Mecry. we should seek to Allah’s Mercy with this dua.
(Allahumma arhamnee ya arhama rahimaeen)
Second Ashra (from 11th Ramadan to 20th Ramadan)
Second 10 days are forgiveness, seek to Allah.
(Allahum-mgofirlee dhunoobee ya rabbal Alameen)
Third Ashra (from 21st Ramadan to end of Ramadan)
Third 10 days are Refuge from the Hellfire and enter into the Heaven, seek to Allah.
(Allahumma authiknee mina-nari va adhuhulnal jannatha ya rabbal Alameen).
Thanks to Mubashir bhai for providing me the Urdu Translation and thanks toMuhammed Arshad bhai who provided me Arabic and Roman Arabic for these duas.
These are fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to look into these and share them with us. Ramadan Mubarak! Ma’asalama.
Jazaak Allah !

assalamo alaykom
I have encountered a doa that was quoted from a person named “Abu hamze Somali” that he had heard it from Ali ebn-e Hosein ebn-e Ali ebn-e AbiTaleb for the nights of Ramadan.it starts with these sentences:
اِلهى لا تُؤَدِّبْنى بِعُقوُبَتِکَ وَلا تَمْکُرْ بى فى
حیلَتِکَ مِنْ اَیْنَ لِىَ الْخَیْرُ یا رَبِّ وَلا یوُجَدُ اِلاّ مِنْ عِنْدِکَ….
It is wonderful and u won’t understand what I say only after u read it (of course with translation to get the meaning if poor in arabic), here is a link that both the writing and the sound file is available:
